THE BHARTI VYAS METHOD (BVM)
Listening, observation, knowledge, the practical application of years of study, underpin all of Bharti's methods and therapies. Her own legacy of Eastern traditional philosophies combines with the latest in Western techniques to create innovative holistic treatments.
Bharti's philosophy is built on the premise that our skin is the most visible part of us; it is the connection between our inner and outer worlds and reflects what is going on in both.
Bharti is working very closely with the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Vocational Therapy charitable trust; whose highly esteemed beauty schools and colleges. Will be teaching the BVM. If you would like more details visit www.fht.org.uk
If you would like Bharti to visit your college please e mail us on bhartivyas@aol.com
What Are The Bharti Vyas Training Objectives?
To produce therapists who can give people back control of their health, beauty and wellbeing. To generate confident therapists and provide them with the appropriate knowledge and practical hands on training, whose work will yield a highly positive influence on their Clients' lifestyle. The centre's training will enable students to connect with their Clients by recognising their problem areas and providing them with the optimum therapy, which is appropriate, effective and balancing. A Bharti Vyas trained therapist will experience personal satisfaction, feeling appreciated and gratified, knowing she or he has made a genuine difference to another person's life. To keep us with continuing demand by providing employers with therapists who truly understand the body and have the confidence to know that they can create an internal change in the way a person feels and looks. To enable therapists to establish successful businesses, in an industry that is crying out for a more evolved and holistic therapy approach.
Who is the training for?
Therapists, who want to refresh or upgrade their own knowledge and training, invest in themselves and stay in touch with client needs to maintain balance and harmony.
Anyone looking to change or advance their careers, or to establish himself or herself as a highly qualified and knowledgeable therapist.
People who are personally interested in therapies and techniques that can give them tools to help themselves.
Developing Individual Therapies - Bharti listens to the women she meets, talk about their anxieties, concerns, needs and pressures. She observes the stresses and weaknesses brought about by a hurried world and aims to equip women to regain a sense of equilibrium and control by designing solutions that work in a modern context:
"I see my role as helping to make the connection between inner health and outer beauty, between inner vitality and outer radiance"
Bharti's regimes are never over elaborate or engineered and can fit into most routines, helping women to make better use of their time.
What Will BVM Teach You?
You will learn that problems often come about not through illness but through imbalance. Bharti believes that to live well, there is a need for balance between the mind, the body and the spirit (soul). The skin very much reflects this. This is always her starting point. The three main excretory organs of the body are the lungs, the kidneys and the skin. The skin is often the first indication of what else is wrong. It is the organ that can make visible on the outside what is going on inside. Listen to the body and it will direct you so you can treat inside and outside to start to establish real health and vitality.
"It is all about learning to relate to the mind and body, understanding and responding to their needs to bring about optimum health and confidence."
Touch - The Very Essence of Therapy
To create balance and Harmony , our hands are highly sensitive and powerful beauty tools, with the ability to influence the workings of the internal body and the health of the skin. Bharti believes the use of hands - touch - is paramount and it lies at the heart of her philosophy and techniques:
"I believe most strongly in the therapeutic benefits of the hands - you can only go by touch."
The skin is richly supplied with nerve endings which act as sensors. Using our hands improves the efficiency of the body's transport systems because it encourages the flow of oxygen-rich blood and nutrients into muscles and stimulates the discharge of waste materials away from the tissues. Acupressure is another way of using hands to restore the balance of energies that create natural harmony in the body. By pressure you can bring about the change in meridians, which causes changes in the skin. Better release of energy, better release of muscle and better release of blood nourishes and results in healthy looking skin.
The use of hands is vital - at the end of your course you will have learnt through hands on therapy how to bring your clients - or yourself - lasting benefits.
