Surviving the festive season!

The festive season is fast approaching and so is the partying! Let’s face it, it can take its toll on us – dull, dehydrated skin, sleeplessness, hangovers, late nights, over eating and drinking make us look like we have seen better days!  Bharti and her team are on hand to give their top tips for surviving the festive season whilst keeping that youthful glow…

Rehydrate your skin – late nights and over indulging  can dry out your skin and heighten its sensitivity.

Drink  lots of water, – Drinking 16oz of cold water on an empty stomach can also help to speed up your metabolism.

 * Massage our Face Balm into your skin every morning to give it a healthy glow. It’s jam packed with lots of nourishing, stimulating and balancing aromatherapy oils – These include rosehip, capsicum, carrot and vitamin E. The perfect food for your skin.

HARMONISING FACE BALM Image      Reduce Puffy eyes

  • Use our Harmonising Face Balm  to massage away puffiness and dark circles.  The massage will act as a pump for eyes, stimulating your lymphatic system to drain any stagnating fluid or toxins: Close your eyes and feel the bony rims of your eye sockets.
  • Start at the outer edge and use your third finger to trace gently around the rims. Apply more pressure across your brow at the point your eyebrows meet. Repeat this twice a day.

Do some home-made spot busting

Just when you want to look good, that spot decides to rear its ugly head…bust it away with a homemade spot buster. Take 1/2 a tsp of honey and 1/2 a tsp of turmeric. Mix into a paste and apply at night. By morning 85% of the spot should have gone, carry on for 3 days to help eliminate scar tissue.

Revitalize and rej uvenate your skin with the Mud mask

Use our Mud Mask to slough off all those dead cells, remove caked in make up and revive dull skin.  the mask is produced from the mud of the Dead Sea;  the Dead Sea has the highest form of minerals than any other sea in the world, its minerals will help to replenish the skin and give it a healthy glow

Heal that hangover

A glass of orange juice with a pinch of cumin powder and a teaspoon of lime juice is a must if you know you are going to over-indulge.

Drink a glass of water beforehand containing a teaspoon of sugar, a pinch of salt and ½ tsp of baking soda to help balance acidity levels.

On the day after the night before, sip diluted live yogurt with a pinch of cumin powder throughout the day. It will help to rehydrate you and counteract nausea.
